Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years in sales, marketing, product management or business development
  • Minimum 5 years in specifying dispensing equipment to solve problems and create a value proposition preferred
  • Structured, organized and able to identify the “20%” efforts that yield “80% of results
  • Highly proactive with the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Passion for Industry, solid relationships and networking.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains detailed knowledge of Nordson products, prices, policies and procedures; knows which products best apply in all phases of assigned industries. Offers upgrades and alternatives when needed.
  • Advises manager of new markets, changes in existing markets, competitors' activities (prices and product changes), and needs for new or redesigned Nordson equipment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product line management, to align growth strategies with overall business goals.
  • Using NBS Next Quads & Quartiles data, historical information, personal or team member experience complete and maintain the required Account Plan for Top OEMs.
  • Proactively seek and identify growth opportunities within the assigned Top OEMs. Fulfill these growth opportunities with Top Products.
  • Log all opportunities in the C4C Sales Pipeline tool and update information on a weekly basis to ensure accurate forecast information exist for Leadership.
  • Provide timely Notification of Shipment (NoS) to field Sales & Service team.
  • Disproportionally visit Top OEMs to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders that will enhance customer engagement and drive sustainable growth recording visits in C4C.
  • Participate in Team meetings and share information about Top Customers, new applications, new competitive information, new trends, etc.
  • Actively seek information about competitors’ products and services and feed back to the Product Line Management team. Use the information to develop differentiating value-added propositions.
  • Actively focus on simplifying tasks. Beginning with customer un-met needs, proactively utilize a more simplified, less complex solution that will provide less complexity focusing on lead-time reduction.
  • Define and implement tactics to increase Nordson revenue that is aligned with the OEM’s niche in the market.
  • Passion for selling and hitting sales targets
  • Ability to interface and build relationships with customers, at all levels in accounts as well as vendors & co-workers.
  • Outstanding account management skills and technical aptitude.
