About The Position

The Sales Representative Merchandiser (SRM) is responsible for maximizing sales and ensuring excellent in-store execution of Cordialsa USA products across assigned retail accounts. This role combines sales, merchandising, and customer service by planning store visits, placing orders, setting up displays, and maintaining shelf conditions. The SRM works closely with store managers and staff to build strong relationships, secure additional product placements, ensure pricing accuracy, and execute promotional campaigns. Responsibilities include stocking shelves from backroom inventory, rotating products, placing Point-of-Sale (POS) materials, and following planogram standards. This is a field-based position requiring regular travel to grocery store locations within a designated territory, following a structured store call schedule.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, customer management, or retail/CPG environment
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance required
  • Must have access to a reliable vehicle for daily route execution
  • Authorized to work in the United States (no sponsorship available, now or in the future)
  • Ability to lift and stock product as required in a retail environment
  • Bilingual Spanish/English required

Nice To Haves

  • College degree preferred
  • Experience in direct store delivery (DSD) or grocery/retail sales strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with local retail customers is a plus
  • Proficient with sales/order management systems and mobile technology
  • Strong relationship-building and customer service skills
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Maximize sales by identifying opportunities and providing excellent customer service.
  • Visit stores to ensure product placement, fill additional shelf space, and verify pricing accuracy.
  • Follow the established daily store route and schedule.
  • Use company systems and tools to accurately record store visits, activities, and outcomes.
  • Recommend orders to store managers based on inventory needs and promotional plans to ensure product rotation and volume growth. Coordinate delivery schedules as needed.
  • Identify and process returned merchandise (credits) when applicable, prepare and label items, and coordinate pickup logistics.
  • Identify potential new accounts within the assigned territory and support onboarding processes, including documentation and portfolio presentation.
  • Ensure shelves are properly labeled, promotional displays are correctly installed, and inventory is organized and ready for sale.
  • Take accurate photos of displays and shelf conditions, ensuring proper reporting of execution in each store.
  • Monitor product rotation and ensure all items are in good selling condition.
  • Ensure correct pricing and promotional execution, and promptly report discrepancies to the Team Leader.
  • Verify product placement according to established planograms.
  • Install and maintain promotional materials according to company guidelines.
