About The Position

This role involves selling human resources technology within a designated geographic territory to cultivate new business opportunities and drive strategic discussions around Human Capital Management (HCM) initiatives for companies with 50 – 999 employees. The Sales Representative will manage complete sales cycles, sell ADP's suite of solutions (40+ products and services) to executives, and accurately forecast their sales pipeline. ADP provides continuous sales training and the latest technology to support success. The role requires selling in the field, documenting and managing multiple sales cycles through implementation, and rewarding success with industry-leading compensation, benefits, incentive trips, and awards. Leaders support career advancement and provide continual sales training.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of closing sales, winning clients, and managing a territory.
  • Upbeat, persistent style with the ability to cold call, manage time effectively, and present ideas clearly and professionally in writing, in-person, and over the phone.
  • Embrace opportunities, take risks, and challenge the status quo.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit: natural leader, resourceful, thrives under pressure, and bounces back quickly.
  • Ability to build relationships, live with integrity, and deliver on promises.
  • Two+ years of quota-carrying, outside business-to-business sales experience.
  • Three+ years of relevant experience in HCM, technology, business equipment, uniform, or software sales.
  • Military experience (skills including teamwork, resilience, negotiation, trust-building, and a "never lose" mentality).

Responsibilities

  • Grow business by working independently and collaboratively to close sales, win business, and reach sales goals within an assigned geography.
  • Implement a sales strategy targeted to decision-makers and business owners to build a network and capture new business.
  • Strategically cultivate additional business within existing accounts by selling cloud-based human resources solutions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, partner, and ADP ambassador to clients, internal partners, and the overall network, demonstrating grace under pressure and high ethical standards.
