About The Position

ADP is seeking a Sales Representative, Human Resources Outsourcing (HRO) to close sales and win new business within a defined territory. This role involves attending award-winning training, joining a sales team that works with new and existing clients to sell human resources solutions, and improving employees' lives through high-quality benefits offerings. Daily tasks include cultivating relationships with HR and executive decision-makers, setting appointments, gathering leads from internal partners, and assessing buyer needs to present ADP solutions. The role requires managing multiple sales processes through various stages, documenting them, and ensuring new business is implemented successfully. Successful candidates will be rewarded with industry-leading compensation, benefits, incentive trips, and awards. Leaders will support career advancement and provide ongoing sales training.

Requirements

  • Upbeat, persistent style and the ability to cold call without fear of rejection.
  • Ability to manage time well, prioritize deliverables, and multi-task.
  • Ability to present ideas clearly and professionally on paper, in-person, and over the phone.
  • Established network and experience carrying a quota in outside business-to-business sales.
  • Impressive track record of closing sales, winning clients, and managing a territory and relationships.
  • Ambitious spirit and thrive under pressure, motivating you to not only hit sales quotas but exceed them.
  • Three years of business-to-business sales experience (preferably field sales) within a results-driven environment (if no college degree).
  • Military experience (skills including teamwork, resilience, negotiation, trust-building, and a never lose mentality) (if no college degree).

  • Ability to successfully build a network and effectively use social media for sales.

Responsibilities

  • Work within a defined, protected territory to close sales, win business, and reach sales goals by implementing a top-down sales strategy.
  • Close sales by recommending the right solutions to help clients understand and solve their real business needs.
  • Earn referral business by networking with existing and soon-to-be clients and forging partnerships in-person and over the phone with decision-makers.
  • Strategically cross-sell with other ADP associates to cultivate additional business within existing accounts.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, partner, and ADP ambassador to clients, internal partners, and the overall network.
  • Demonstrate grace under pressure and the highest ethical standards.
