As an outside Sales Representative for Bunzl Distribution’s Grocery organization, you will be accountable for meeting and exceeding sales targets across the Carolinas and Virginia geography. This is a field-based, customer-facing territory sales role focused on both account management (existing accounts) and new business development (prospecting) in a B2B sales environment. In addition to serving as a business development partner, you will build customer relationships, handle customer complaints and inquiries, manage Accounts Receivable, and effectively communicate with all appropriate internal departments and support personnel. As a Sales Representative for Bunzl, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast paced and ever-changing environment where attention to detail, a strong sense of urgency, initiative and drive for results are integral to achieving personal, professional and company success. As part of Bunzl’s Grocery segment, you’ll support a diverse portfolio of disposable goods-not-for-resale used in grocery store operations—including paper goods, packaging, janitorial supplies, safety, sanitation, and PPE. Our customers include supermarkets, grocery chains, wholesalers, and independent retailers, where you’ll support both day-to-day store needs and broader operational efficiency. This territory covers North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. An ideal candidate would be centrally located (near Greensboro, NC) to efficiently cover the customers and geography; but we will consider applicants anywhere within the territory listed.
