About The Position

The Entertainment Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales and business development within the heavy equipment rental industry, specifically targeting the entertainment sector. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service and communication.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in sales, preferably within the heavy equipment rental or entertainment industry.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Proficiency in market research and analysis to identify business opportunities.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to address client needs and resolve issues effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt to new environments and changing client needs.
  • Excellent oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey information and build rapport with clients.
  • Ability to handle business development and drive sales growth.
  • Extremely detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of the sales process.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, plan and organize sales strategies to achieve desired results/goals.
  • Prospect for new expendable sales opportunities via phone, email, networking, and personal visits which result in viable sales opportunities for the Company.
  • Build relationships with new customers keeping communication lines open for future customer production projects.
  • Presents the Company in a professional manner maintaining the best interest of the Company at all times.
  • Compiles lists of prospective customers from industry resources and internal sales leads.
  • Plan territory travel for the most efficient execution of new customer prospecting, setting priorities based upon production schedules.
  • Identify customer’s needs and react appropriately while understanding market conditions and local competitor pricing.
  • Travel to production facilities, stages, industry related businesses to develop new relationships.
  • Collaboration with Corporate sales team for proper sales quotes within company pricing and profit margin guidelines.
  • Work with purchasing department to assist in keeping proper inventory levels and new product lines to keep up with customer preferences.
  • Follow up with new customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Provide necessary new customer account information as required.
