This is an Architectural Sales Representative position where you will work closely with architectural professionals advising on the design and specification of door openings using our award-winning BIM software, Openings Studio. You will be a vital team player to the architect and design team, driving positive, sustaining relationships with key influencers and creating brand demand through educating, facilitating, and promoting ASSA ABLOY solutions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
Utilization and maintenance of CRM tools for sales and activity reporting.

Nice To Haves

College/University degree (preference for specialization in related curricula such as: architectural, design/engineering/drafting, construction science/management, business, or similar).
At least 2-3 years’ industry related experience in architectural representation, specification writing, or Design-Build construction management (will be considered in lieu of degree).
Working knowledge of industry-related software is a plus.

Responsibilities

Cultivate strategic relationships with architectural design team influencers and specifiers.
Identify and secure opportunities to prepare door and hardware specifications.
Provide timely and accurate product information for use in commercial project specifications.
Deliver targeted continuing educational programs highlighting new products, solutions, and design-assist professional services.
Assist with product substitution and approval procedures and follow up to ensure specifications are held in the bid process.
Utilize Salesforce.com as a customer relationship, project tracking and time management tool.
Serve as the point-of-contact for the architect's education, specification, client satisfaction and technical support needs.
Be responsible for architectural development, project tracking and ultimately gaining approval for our internal team of writers to prepare Division 08 door and hardware specification documents.
Promote adoption of the Openings Studio BIM tool and present project proposals for value-added professional services.
