Represents Western Equipment LLC for the sale of Whole goods, parts, and services to customers in a defined sales area. Maintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially saleable by the dealership. Monitors competitive activity/ products and timely communicates to management, accordingly. Maintains all customer information in assigned territory for sales management. Knows and follows a defined sales process for whole goods and parts. Handles customer needs for the entire transactional process - looking up parts, pulling parts, selling parts, loading out parts. Responsible for the entire inventory process with Non-Deere parts - receipting the parts under the price specified from the vendor and then, marking-up price to ensure gross margin. Verifies receipting-in of shipments and assists with placing Machine Down and Stock Orders in their proper inventory locations. Monitors trends in customer’s business activities and timely communicates those with management. Maintains current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods. Follows up on shortages and expedites issues by reporting to the Warehouse Manager/Parts Manager – Does not act on the shortages. Will assist in the auditing of customer orders in the customer bins – through making the > 14 day warning call. Assists with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays and regularly stocks showroom-as needed. Attends applicable parts and sales training events/seminars. May maintain current knowledge of used equipment values and ability to evaluate properly for trading purposes. Maintains Customer Tracks. Work flexible hours/ alternate Saturdays and trade shows as needed. Maintains assigned company vehicles and equipment. Assists with preparation and execution of customer events. Conducts new equipment field demonstrations.
