About The Position

Dover Dodge is looking for a friendly, dependable, and professional Part-Time Sales Receptionist to join our team! As the first point of contact for customers visiting or calling our dealership, you'll play an important role in creating a welcoming and positive experience. This position is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and an interest in gaining customer service experience in a professional environment. No previous automotive dealership experience is required, we are happy to train the right candidate!

Requirements

• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn dealership systems.
• Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working independently.
• Ability to work the required rotating evening and Saturday schedule.
• Verification of a valid driver’s license and review of the applicant’s motor vehicle record.
• A background check conducted with the applicant’s authorization and in accordance with applicable law.
• Pre-employment drug and alcohol screening administered and evaluated in accordance with applicable law and Company policy.

Nice To Haves

• Previous receptionist, administrative, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter the showroom and direct them to the appropriate sales representative or department.
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a friendly, professional manner.
• Assist customers with general inquiries and provide basic dealership information.
• Communicate with sales staff regarding customer arrivals and appointments.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
• Assist with basic administrative tasks, data entry, and document organization as needed.
• Provide additional support to the sales and management teams as requested.
