Receptionist - Part-Time Weekends
About The Position
Part of the WSA group, HearCANADA's mission is to reframe the world of hearing care and set the highest standards in the world of hearing health. With over 110 clinics across Canada, our teams work collaboratively to provide exceptional, patient-centric care on our quest to deliver Wonderful Sound for All. We are seeking a Sales & Reception Coordinator (internally called "Client Care Coordinator") to join our Client Care team. In this role, you will be responsible for administrative duties within the clinic, providing an exceptional client experience, and driving sales of our products and services. This is a permanent, full-time position based onsite at our South Surrey/White Rock, BC HearCANADA Clinic. Typical hours of work are Saturday 10-6 and Sunday 12-5 local time with the opportunity to pick up additional hours. The role offers $24/hour plus access to a bonus program.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience working in sales, retail, a busy office, or a clinic environment
- Comfortable interacting with customers
- Sales acumen - comfortability in recommending products and services to clients
- Customer-centric attitude - comfortable interacting with diverse client groups and networking within the community
- Team-player - works well with others and appreciates what can be accomplished with support from colleagues
- Availability to work ongoing weekend hours
Responsibilities
- Provide an exceptional and individualized client experience for clients visiting and contacting the clinic
- Manage the clinic schedule by booking and rescheduling appointments; follow-up on missed appointments or with appointment reminders
- Making product and payment recommendations to enhance the client journey
- Support with maintaining physical and electronic records
- Perform basic hearing aid maintenance and product questions
- Participate in local events and marketing initiatives to support HearCANADA branding and networking within the local community
- Educate patients on billing and payment options; perform AR duties as assigned
