This position is responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial relationships and loans. This includes coordinating with Credit Administration on the collection of financial statements, tax returns, rent rolls, borrowing basis, and annual servicing. It also involves monitoring the financial condition of the assigned commercial loan portfolio, either directly or indirectly, as determined by the Commercial Team Leader (CTL) or Area Executive (AE). The role encompasses servicing client banking needs, processing loan renewals, line of credit draw requests, letter of credit renewals, and occasionally new loan requests from existing clients. Additionally, it requires monitoring and managing past due accounts, borrowing bases, covenant tracking, and maturity lists, and working with Lending Assistants and CLUs to ensure files are kept up-to-date with required financial information. The position supports the CTL or AE in performing specific duties such as contacting customers for required information, providing preliminary feedback on creditworthiness, partnering in the completion of loan renewals, monitoring collateral and financial exceptions, and working with Credit Administration and Loan Review on classified loans. The role may also involve assisting with projects, initiating workflow into credit origination software, accompanying Commercial Relationship Managers on client calls, attending loan closings, and undertaking special projects. Compliance with bank policies, procedures, code of conduct, and regulatory guidelines is essential. The role also involves assisting other employees and marketing efforts, and continuously updating skills through professional training and cross-training.
