About The Position

The Sales Porter / Admin supports the Sales Department by maintaining vehicle inventory presentation, assisting with vehicle movement, and ensuring dealership grounds are clean, organized, and customer ready. This role plays a critical part in creating a positive customer experience and supporting the overall success of dealership sales operations.

Requirements

  • Previous automotive dealership or customer service experience is a plus.
  • Ability to safely move, park, and organize vehicles on dealership property.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and professional dealership appearance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first attitude.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to prioritize multiple tasks throughout the day.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Ability to successfully complete pre-employment requirements, including background check, motor vehicle record (MVR) review, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the appearance and organization of new and pre-owned vehicle inventory on the dealership lot.
  • Safely transport, park, and stage vehicles for customer viewings, test drives, deliveries, and dealership events.
  • Inspect vehicles upon arrival and assist with inventory receiving, vehicle tagging, and lot placement.
  • Ensure all vehicles are clean, fueled, properly displayed, and ready for sale or delivery.
  • Support sales associates and management with vehicle retrieval, customer deliveries, and daily operational needs.
  • Maintain cleanliness of dealership grounds, parking areas, showroom entrances, and display areas.
  • Follow all safety procedures and provide exceptional customer service when interacting with guests.
