About The Position

The Sales Planning Executive (also referred to as an Ad Sales Planner) provides support for all aspects of the ad sales process. The successful candidate will have a team-player mentality and the ability to work under pressure meeting deadlines to fulfill client requests. The sales planning executive reports to the Manager, Cross Platform Planning & Account Management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years of Sales experience in related field or industry required
  • Previous advertising/media experience
  • Experience working with Ad Sales Traffic Departments
  • Knowledge of Dealmaker and/or WideOrbit
  • Media math skills
  • Must have excellent attention to detail and organization

Responsibilities

  • Effectively create and revise Upfront and Scatter media plans that maximize revenue and inventory based on marketplace conditions and client needs
  • Work closely with Sales, Pricing & Planning, and Traffic to ensure advertisers air as negotiated
  • Manage deal tracks reflecting all options and changes on networks
  • Oversee Account stewardship to deliver buys across all TelevisaUnivision networks.
  • Managing the liability and working with Sales Coordinators to book recaps as needed
  • Own and assist Finance with monthly billing reconciliation
  • Supervise Sales Coordinators on all pre and post-sales support.
  • Delegate responsibilities and train the Sales Coordinators
  • Service accounts by building and maintaining close communication with agency/client counter-parts as needed to provide excellent service at all times
