About The Position

North American Powertrain Components Ltd, based out of Edmonton Alberta, is a leading remanufacturer of transmissions, transfer cases, torque convertors, and differential units, known for its state-of-the-art facility and cutting-edge R&D. Its subsidiary, North American Diesel Performance, specializes in aftermarket Diesel Performance, providing industry knowledge and service. The company is seeking an Inside Sales professional to achieve predetermined customer service levels and sales targets, contributing to its success driven by people, responsible operations, excellence, innovation, and profitable growth.

Requirements

Knowledge of Powertrain Components and Driveline an asset.
Minimum 2 years of automotive related knowledge.
Strong selling skills with a demonstrated ability to close the sale
Comfort level with assessing customer needs and offering NAPC & NADP products and services over the phone
Computer and typing skills
Exceptional customer service and verbal communication skills
Professional business manner
Ability to work both independently & in Co-op with the desire to go above and beyond while contributing to your team's overall success
Excellent organizational & multi-tasking skills while being adaptable to changing priorities and challenging situations

Responsibilities

Promote NAPC & NADP products and services through identifying customer needs
Seek out opportunities for additional sales with new and existing customers
Generate revenue by achieving monthly sales targets
Provide professional and knowledgeable service while delivering an exceptional customer experience
Establish strong customer relations with both internal and external customers
Work as a team to ensure departmental and individual goals are met on a daily basis
Booking appointments, confirming appointments and follow up calls
Represent NAPC & NADP in a positive and professional manner
Various other duties as required
