Employees enjoy a fun atmosphere. Home Consignment Center is hiring consignment specialists! You light up when it comes to decorating. You love to chat about home décor and design as much as you love to create a cozy home of your own. It's natural for you to start up friendly conversations with customers, deliver an amazing customer experience, and resolve issues with a smile. You possess the confidence to evaluate people's furniture and price it to consign.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have necessary computer skills to learn our simple point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Some weekend days required.
• Eager to meet and greet new people.
• Friendly and works well with people.
• Can help move small items around store.
• Punctual and reliable.
• Good at multitasking.
• Open availability on weekends.

Responsibilities

• Bring in beautiful, high-quality furniture on consignment.
• Meet and greet customers.
• Preview, meet with consignors, and take consignment appointments.
• Check emails & respond daily to consignors & customers.
• Accurately enter products into the computer database for sale.
• Tag approved products for sale.
• Place approved items on sales floor.
• Check people out at the register.
• Stage/decorate & general cleaning of the store.
• Answer the phone.
• Assist with social media posts & responses.
