About The Position

The Sales Outfitter provides counter sales and customer service for Hunting/Archery Merchandise (non-Firearms). This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service and sales of floor Hunting/Archery Merchandise. Key activities include greeting and assisting customers, handling merchandise with care, providing product information, and directing customers. The role supports a strong commitment to world-class customer service to ensure a pleasant and productive shopping experience. This involves identifying customer needs, making product recommendations, promoting store programs like CLUB membership, VOC, and In-Store Pickup, and demonstrating products. The Sales Outfitter also organizes and maintains merchandise, replenishes stock, stays updated on product knowledge and advertised sales, assists with seasonal merchandise moves, and maintains a clean work area, all while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of experience in Retail.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Customer Service and Sales of Hunting/Archery Merchandise (NON-Firearms).
• GCA.
• Ability to Merchandise and Stock Merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Provides counter sales and customer service for Hunting/Archery Merchandise (non-Firearms).
• Identifies and evaluates customers’ needs.
• Makes product recommendations based off of customer needs analysis.
• Promotes programs including, but not limited to CLUB membership, VOC and IN Store Pick up.
• Demonstrates product to customers.
• Organizes and maintains Merchandise within the retail Store for Sales at Gun Counter non-Firearms.
• Replenishes product on shelves as required per merchandising guidelines.
• Remains product “expert” through ongoing product knowledge training.
• Remains knowledgeable of advertised sales; maintain pricing and signing.
• Assists with Seasonal Floor merchandise moves.
• Keeps work area clean, neat and well stocked with supplies.
• Follows all company policies and procedures.
