The Sales Outfitter provides counter sales and customer service for Hunting/Archery Merchandise (non-Firearms). This position is responsible for customer service and sales of floor hunting/archery merchandise. They perform various selling and customer service activities, including greeting and acknowledging all customers promptly and in a friendly manner, handling merchandise with care, and providing information, assistance, and direction to customers. This role supports a strong commitment to world-class customer service and ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers by providing a legendary experience for every customer, every time. This involves assisting customers in making buying decisions by identifying and evaluating their needs, making product recommendations, and promoting programs such as CLUB membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick Up. The Sales Outfitter will also demonstrate product to customers, organize and maintain merchandise within the retail store at the non-firearms gun counter, replenish product on shelves as required per merchandising guidelines, and remain a product expert through ongoing product knowledge training. They will stay knowledgeable of advertised sales, maintain pricing and signing, and assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves. The Sales Outfitter is responsible for keeping their work area clean, neat, and well-stocked with supplies, and must follow all company policies and procedures.
