About The Position

The Sales Outfitter provides counter sales and customer service for Hunting/Archery Merchandise (non-Firearms). This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service and sales of floor merchandise, greeting and assisting customers, handling merchandise with care, and providing product information. The role involves identifying customer needs, making product recommendations, promoting store programs, demonstrating products, organizing and maintaining merchandise, replenishing stock, staying knowledgeable about products and sales, assisting with seasonal merchandise moves, and maintaining a clean work area. The position also requires adherence to all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of experience in Retail.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Customer Service and Sales of Hunting/Archery Merchandise (NON-Firearms).
• GCA.
• Ability to Merchandise and Stock Merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Provides counter sales and customer service for Hunting/Archery Merchandise (non-Firearms).
• Greets and acknowledges all customers in a prompt and friendly manner.
• Handles merchandise with care, providing information, assistance, and direction to customers.
• Identifies and evaluates customers’ needs.
• Makes product recommendations based on customer needs analysis.
• Promotes programs including, but not limited to CLUB membership, VOC and IN Store Pick up.
• Demonstrates product to customers.
• Organizes and maintains Merchandise within the retail Store for Sales at Gun Counter (non-Firearms).
• Replenishes product on shelves as required per merchandising guidelines.
• Remains a product “expert” through ongoing product knowledge training.
• Remains knowledgeable of advertised sales; maintains pricing and signing.
• Assists with Seasonal Floor merchandise moves.
• Keeps work area clean, neat and well stocked with supplies.
• Follows all company policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
