About The Position

The Sales Outfitter provides counter sales and customer service for Hunting/Archery Merchandise (non-Firearms). This position is responsible for greeting and acknowledging customers, handling merchandise with care, providing information, assistance, and direction. The role supports world-class customer service by identifying customer needs, making product recommendations, promoting programs like CLUB membership and In Store Pick up, and demonstrating products. The Sales Outfitter also organizes and maintains merchandise, replenishes stock, stays knowledgeable about products and sales, assists with seasonal merchandise moves, and keeps the work area clean. They must follow all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of experience in Retail.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Customer Service and Sales of Hunting/Archery Merchandise (NON-Firearms).
• Ability to Merchandise and Stock Merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Provides counter sales and customer service for Hunting/Archery Merchandise (non-Firearms).
• Greets and acknowledges all customers in a prompt and friendly manner.
• Handles merchandise with care.
• Provides information, assistance, and direction to customers.
• Identifies and evaluates customers’ needs.
• Makes product recommendations based off of customer needs analysis.
• Promotes programs including, but not limited to CLUB membership, VOC and IN Store Pick up.
• Demonstrates product to customers.
• Organizes and maintains Merchandise within the retail Store for Sales at Gun Counter non-Firearms.
• Replenishes product on shelves as required per merchandising guidelines.
• Remains product “expert” through ongoing product knowledge training.
• Remains knowledgeable of advertised sales; maintain pricing and signing.
• Assists with Seasonal Floor merchandise moves.
• Keeps work area clean, neat and well stocked with supplies.
• Follows all company policies and procedures.
