About The Position

The Sales Outfitter provides counter sales and customer service for Hunting/Archery Merchandise (non-Firearms). This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service and sales of floor hunting/archery merchandise. Key activities include greeting and assisting customers, handling merchandise with care, providing product information, and directing customers. The role supports a strong commitment to world-class customer service to ensure a pleasant and productive shopping experience. This involves identifying customer needs, making product recommendations, promoting company programs (like CLUB membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick Up), and demonstrating products. The Sales Outfitter also organizes and maintains merchandise at the Gun Counter (non-firearms), replenishes stock according to merchandising guidelines, stays updated on product knowledge through training, and remains knowledgeable about advertised sales and pricing. They assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves, maintain a clean and organized work area, and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 0-2 years of experience in Retail.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Customer Service and Sales of Hunting/Archery Merchandise (NON-Firearms).
  • Ability to Merchandise and Stock Merchandise.

Responsibilities

  • Provides counter sales and customer service for Hunting/Archery Merchandise (non-Firearms).
  • Offers a legendary experience for every customer by assisting them in making buying decisions.
  • Identifies and evaluates customer needs.
  • Makes product recommendations based on customer needs analysis.
  • Promotes company programs including CLUB membership, VOC, and In Store Pick up.
  • Demonstrates product to customers.
  • Organizes and maintains merchandise within the retail store for sales at the Gun Counter (non-firearms).
  • Replenishes product on shelves as required per merchandising guidelines.
  • Remains a product expert through ongoing product knowledge training.
  • Remains knowledgeable of advertised sales and maintains pricing and signing.
  • Assists with Seasonal Floor merchandise moves.
  • Keeps work area clean, neat, and well stocked with supplies.
  • Follows all company policies and procedures.
