About The Position

The Sales Outfitter provides counter sales and customer service for Hunting/Archery Merchandise (non-Firearms). This position is responsible for greeting and acknowledging customers, handling merchandise with care, and providing information and assistance. They will also be responsible for organizing and maintaining merchandise, replenishing stock, and staying knowledgeable about products and sales. This role supports a strong commitment to customer service and aims to provide a legendary shopping experience.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
0-2 years of experience in Retail
Must be 18 years of age or older
Customer Service and Sales of Hunting/Archery Merchandise (NON-Firearms)
GCA Ability
Ability to Merchandise and Stock Merchandise

Responsibilities

Provides counter sales and customer service for Hunting/Archery Merchandise (non-Firearms).
Greets and acknowledges all customers in a prompt and friendly manner.
Handles merchandise with care.
Provides information, assistance, and direction to customers.
Identifies and evaluates customers’ needs.
Makes product recommendations based on customer needs.
Promotes programs including, but not limited to CLUB membership, VOC and IN Store Pick up.
Demonstrates product to customers.
Organizes and maintains Merchandise within the retail Store for Sales at Gun Counter (non-Firearms).
Replenishes product on shelves as required per merchandising guidelines.
Remains product “expert” through ongoing product knowledge training.
Remains knowledgeable of advertised sales; maintains pricing and signing.
Assists with Seasonal Floor merchandise moves.
Keeps work area clean, neat and well stocked with supplies.
Follows all company policies and procedures.
