About The Position

The Sales Outfitter provides counter sales and customer service for Hunting/Archery Merchandise (non-Firearms). This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service and sales of floor hunting/archery merchandise. Key activities include greeting and assisting customers, handling merchandise with care, providing product information, and directing customers. The role supports a strong commitment to world-class customer service to ensure a pleasant and productive shopping experience. This involves identifying customer needs, recommending products, and promoting company programs like CLUB membership, VOC, and In-Store Pickup. The Sales Outfitter will also demonstrate products, organize and maintain merchandise at the Gun Counter (non-firearms), replenish shelves, stay updated on product knowledge and sales, assist with seasonal merchandise moves, and maintain a clean work area, all while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of experience in Retail.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Customer Service and Sales of Hunting/Archery Merchandise (NON-Firearms).
• GCA Ability to Merchandise and Stock Merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Provides counter sales and customer service for Hunting/Archery Merchandise (non-Firearms).
• Handles merchandise with care, provides information, assistance, and direction to customers.
• Identifies and evaluates customer needs and makes product recommendations.
• Promotes company programs including CLUB membership, VOC, and In Store Pick up.
• Demonstrates product to customers.
• Organizes and maintains merchandise within the retail store for sales at the Gun Counter (non-firearms).
• Replenishes product on shelves as required per merchandising guidelines.
• Remains a product expert through ongoing product knowledge training.
• Remains knowledgeable of advertised sales; maintains pricing and signing.
• Assists with Seasonal Floor merchandise moves.
• Keeps work area clean, neat, and well-stocked with supplies.
• Follows all company policies and procedures.
