We currently have a career opportunity available for a Sales Operations Supervisor to join our team. The Sales Operations Supervisor is responsible for leading a team that supports the sales organization through order management, customer service, and operational execution. This role ensures accuracy, efficiency, and high customer satisfaction while driving continuous improvement across processes and team performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory role in sales operations or sales support
  • Demonstrated experience leading continuous improvement projects
  • Comfortability with AI and automation process improvement tools
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Must have the ability to read, analyze and present information to various audiences
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products and SAP
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written

  • Previous sales experience is desired but not required

Responsibilities

  • Actively lead the mentoring and training of Inside Sales Representatives (ISR) in their daily responsibilities to support the customer, sales teams and other departments in accordance with sales initiatives and strategies.
  • Foster accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement
  • Set clearly defined performance goals and objectives for each ISR and provide development opportunities to stretch their capabilities and growth potential.
  • Provide direction and guidance with internal and external conflict resolution and when necessary, act as the escalation point until resolved
  • Create a culture focused on responsiveness, accuracy, customer service and operational excellence
  • Conduct weekly check-ins, motivational messaging and identify/update training opportunities as needed
  • Manage current staffing and planned staffing, workload prioritization, scheduling (including during associate PTO), and resource allocation.
  • Lead communication with ISR’s when business needs require special projects and research
  • Partner with Sales Leaders to support strategic growth initiatives and key customer relationships
  • Oversee daily Sales Department Inbox activity to address inquiries, deliver support and drive prompt resolution
  • Support National Regional and Hospitality programs and contract compliance efforts
  • Create and implement continuous improvement projects with a focus on automation and utilization of AI
  • Provide training programs and enhance product knowledge and improvements to product database.
  • Coordinate the research of incoming RFP’s and large quotes for product identification.
  • Review of Aged Order and Discontinued Items for further action
  • Resolve escalated operational issues received by team for immediate resolution
  • Serve as cross-functional liaison between Sales, Operations, Finance, Customer Service and IT to resolve issues and improve communication.
  • Daily review and distribution of daily departmental reports, dashboards and performance metrics
  • Review of all open contracts in system for date of allocation to assignment of team for action.
  • Review of new rollouts in system approval for processing
  • Daily approval of OnBase requests and sales team check requests
  • Approval of all timecards and PTO requests
  • Partner with HR to adhere to attendance policy
