About The Position

The Sales Operations Specialist supports the sales team by improving coordination between sales, operations, and accounting. This role focuses on maintaining accurate CRM data, supporting inbound requests, improving visibility into sales activity, and helping ensure a smooth flow from customer inquiry through project completion and payment. This position plays a key role in strengthening internal processes, supporting customer communication, and helping the team operate efficiently. Support stronger alignment between sales, CRM systems, and operations to improve customer service, increase visibility into opportunities, and contribute to consistent revenue performance.

Requirements

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in sales operations, sales support, or CRM coordination
  • Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM system
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work across teams

Nice To Haves

  • Salesforce certification or interest in obtaining it
  • Experience in construction, industrial, or field service environments
  • Familiarity with accounts receivable

Responsibilities

  • CRM and Salesforce Support
  • Supports Salesforce as a primary internal resource: Customizing/configuring reports related to KPIs and
  • Maintain accurate tracking of opportunities, quotes, rate sheets and customer communication
  • Help improve data quality and consistency across the system
  • Assist with reporting to support pipeline visibility and forecasting
  • Participate in Salesforce training and continued development
  • Sales and Operations Coordination
  • Support communication between inside sales and operation
  • Help improve visibility into project timelines and scheduling
  • Assist with coordination from quote approval to project execution
  • Ensure information is shared clearly across teams
  • Revenue and Accounts Receivable Support
  • Work with accounting to track existing outstanding invoices
  • Monitor aging reports and support follow up with customers
  • Assist with proactive communication to reduce invoices over 90 days past due
  • Help support overall cash flow through consistent follow-up
  • Inbound Requests and Customer Support
  • Help manage incoming service requests
  • Ensure requests are routed and responded to in a timely manner
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with customers
  • Pipeline Visibility and Reporting
  • Maintain accurate and up to date opportunity data
  • Support reporting on pipeline activity and upcoming work
  • Help improve visibility into sales performance and conversion trends
