About The Position

The Sales Operations Specialist supports the full revenue engine by ensuring sales teams, channel partners, and internal stakeholders have the processes, tools, and data needed to operate efficiently. In a telecom environment, this role is critical for maintaining accurate quoting, clean CRM data, smooth order flow, and tight coordination across provisioning, billing, engineering, and customer support. You’ll be the operational backbone of the sales organization — improving workflows, eliminating friction, and enabling faster, cleaner deal execution.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Sales Support.
  • Experience in telecom, UCaaS, VoIP, mobility, fiber, or other communications‑based industries.
  • Strong proficiency with CRM platforms and reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑moving environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CPQ systems, provisioning workflows, or telecom billing platforms.
  • Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics tools.
  • Understanding of telecom concepts (DIDs, porting, SIP, serviceability, rate decks, etc.).
  • Project management or process improvement experience.
  • French speaking a plus (bi-lingual)

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and optimize CRM data (Salesforce, Dynamics, HubSpot) to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Monitor pipeline hygiene, enforce data standards, and support territory and account assignments.
  • Build and maintain sales playbooks, process documentation, and internal SOPs.
  • Produce weekly/monthly dashboards covering pipeline, forecast accuracy, bookings, churn, and partner performance.
  • Analyze sales trends and provide insights to leadership to support decision‑making.
  • Support quota planning, territory modeling, and performance tracking.
  • Validate quotes for accuracy, pricing compliance, serviceability, and product configuration.
  • Coordinate order entry, porting requests, LOAs, service checks, and provisioning handoffs.
  • Ensure all required documents (contracts, MSAs, addendums, partner forms) are complete and compliant.
  • Track order status, resolve discrepancies, and communicate updates to sales and partners.
  • Serve as the operational liaison between Sales, Engineering, Provisioning, Billing, Customer Support, and Product.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to service availability, billing codes, order delays, or configuration mismatches.
  • Support channel partners with quoting, documentation, and operational guidance.
  • Train new hires and partners on CRM usage, quoting tools, product catalog, and internal workflows.
  • Create and maintain enablement materials, cheat sheets, and process guides.
  • Support adoption of new tools, systems, and operational enhancements.
  • Identify bottlenecks in the sales cycle and propose workflow improvements.
  • Partner with IT/Product to implement CRM enhancements, CPQ updates, and automation opportunities.
  • Participate in cross‑department projects to improve order flow, partner experience, and revenue accuracy.
