About The Position

Lift Truck Center, Inc., the authorized dealer for Toyota Material Handling, is seeking a Sales Operations Specialist to support our capital equipment sales team. This role helps ensure disciplined sales execution, accurate opportunity tracking, and smooth order processing across our sales team. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, analytical, and comfortable working in a dynamic sales environment. Strong communication skills, the ability to manage data and workflows, and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential. This position also offers a clear pathway for professional growth, providing hands-on experience with quoting, product knowledge, and operational process development within Lift Truck Center.

Requirements

  • Ability to collaborate across departments and support a unified team approach to customer service.

  • Experience in sales operations, process improvement, or sales support is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Process & Pipeline Support Collaborate with sales representatives to review opportunities, ensuring customer requirements, scope, and assumptions are clearly captured.
  • Establish and enforce consistent sales processes, activity tracking, and account management practices to improve workflow and reduce errors.
  • Maintain pipeline visibility, opportunity data, and accountability for next steps, helping the team adopt structured workflows.
  • Assist in the adoption and eventual implementation of a CRM system, including organizing data, defining usage standards, and ensuring accurate input.
  • Review and validate written orders to ensure completeness and accuracy before processing.
  • Operational & Process Improvement Identify gaps in sales execution and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce re-work.
  • Help design workflows, reporting, and standard operating procedures for an evolving sales organization.
  • Support the sales team by monitoring adherence to processes, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining operational consistency across all opportunities.
  • Sales Support & Product Familiarity Build a working knowledge of products to support quoting, opportunity planning, and sales inquiries as needed.
  • Provide guidance to the sales team on process adoption, scheduling, and maintaining accurate opportunity data.
  • Act as a bridge between sales leadership and the team to ensure new processes and tools are effectively implemented
  • Engage directly with customers when needed to provide product information, support quoting, or clarify opportunity details.
