Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Sales insurance license(s) as required by state law in residential and non-residential states within assigned territory, or willingness to obtain upon hire
  • 2+ years of experience in a healthcare administrative, operations, or sales role
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to deliver compelling presentations
  • Solid communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Access to reliable transportation and valid US driver’s license with the ability to travel as needed

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a consultative resource to Brokers and General Agents, providing guidance on competitive insights, products, processes, quoting, and sales solutions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Brokers and General Agents to drive engagement, sales, and overall market excellence
  • Conduct in-person Broker and General Agent meetings and lead Open Enrollment sessions across the NY, NJ, and CT metro area
  • Collaborate with Sales Account Executives (AEs), Brokers, General Agents, and internal teams to ensure alignment, consistency, and successful execution throughout the sales and implementation process
  • Manage the end-to-end quoting process, including reviewing documentation, gathering missing information, utilizing appropriate systems, and ensuring accuracy of submissions
  • Process and track quote requests through established systems, ensuring adherence to inventory management protocols and turnaround time expectations
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., underwriting, case installation teams) to resolve escalations and ensure cases progress efficiently through contract issuance
  • Utilize multiple systems and tools (e.g., Excel, Solaris, Outlook, PowerPoint) to manage work, support reporting, and facilitate internal and external communication
  • Effectively manage multiple priorities through strong organization, proactive planning, and continuous learning, while supporting team initiatives and key business projects
  • Coordinate and support virtual and in-person meetings, including scheduling, materials, logistics, and follow-up actions
  • Maintain well-organized files, records, and reference materials to support efficient operations and decision-making
