About The Position

The US Revenue Operations & Commercial Excellence team (US ROCx) at BD exists to turn insights into action, enabling commercial excellence and improving how BD serves customers and drives growth. This role supports the company's three priorities: competing in the market, delivering reliably, and innovating faster. The team's culture is built on continuous improvement, accountability, transparency, and strategic partnership. This role reports to the Associate Director, Sales Operations and is responsible for coordinating new hire readiness, on/offboarding effectiveness, vendor credentialing, integration/divestiture support, and process optimizations within U.S. Sales Operations. The position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to quickly identify and address issues, and prompt action to resolve or escalate concerns. It aims to ensure timely system access, credentialing readiness, consistent process execution, and stronger stakeholder visibility. The role partners with various internal departments (Sales Enablement, Sales Operations, HR, IT, T&E, Legal/Contracts) and external suppliers to support service expectations and resolve issues. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, tech-savvy, comfortable working across functions, and able to prioritize effectively. A self-starter who takes ownership, follows through on tasks, and understands the impact of timely and accurate execution on new hire productivity and field readiness is desired. Clear communication with managers and associates, reinforcement of process expectations, early detection of readiness risks or data issues, and prompt action to resolve or escalate concerns are key.

Requirements

  • Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3–5 years of corporate program administration, operations support, or related experience.
  • Experience supporting high-volume onboarding, vendor credentialing, field operations, or other operational support functions in a large corporate environment preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with changing priorities, while maintaining timely follow-through, accuracy, and quality.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills to track readiness items, detect gaps or discrepancies quickly, and support timely resolution.
  • High attention to detail and sound judgment when managing high-volume transactional work, with awareness of how errors or delays may affect onboarding readiness, field access, customer access, or stakeholder experience.
  • Comfortable learning and using technology, automation, and AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and visibility.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate activities, share updates, explain processes, follow up on open items, and support timely resolution.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, internet tools, and proprietary systems used to support tracking, communication, documentation, and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to support team coverage, knowledge sharing, and consistent service delivery.
  • Willingness to support additional projects, responsibilities, and occasional overtime as business needs require.
  • Ability to handle confidential materials and information ethically, professionally, and with appropriate discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Support successful U.S. sales and service onboarding outcomes by coordinating readiness activities for new hires, transfers, terminations, managers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Help prevent avoidable Day 1 and field-readiness delays by tracking readiness milestones closely, detecting gaps or discrepancies early, following up with owners, and escalating issues promptly when action is needed.
  • Support new hire productivity by carefully monitoring access, equipment, training, T&E, Salesforce, SAP, sample account, and other system readiness requirements, quickly identifying errors or missing items, and following up on gaps that may affect the associate or manager experience.
  • Support New Hire Orientation success by coordinating readiness communications, tracking critical dependencies, conducting pre-Day 1 and Day 1 check-ins, confirming key access, equipment, systems, and readiness items are working as expected, and promptly following up or escalating when issues are identified.
  • Help minimize disruption during Sales New Hire Orientation by quickly identifying new hire issues, coordinating with IT, HR, Sales Training, Sales Excellence, T&E, and other departments, and following through until resolution or escalation.
  • Support stakeholder alignment by delivering timely readiness communications that keep managers, new hires, HR, IT, Sales Training, Sales Excellence, and other partners informed of status, risks, and required actions.
  • Support service quality by managing Salesforce cases, monitoring SLA status, identifying recurring inquiry trends, and recommending practical improvements that reduce repeat issues and improve readiness support.
  • Help create a consistent onboarding experience by coordinating on/off/crossboarding inquiries, readiness risks, and stakeholder follow-up.
  • Help remove barriers to new hire success by partnering with Sales Training, Sales Excellence, IT, HR, and managers to resolve data, access, equipment, and readiness issues before they disrupt onboarding timelines.
  • Support consistent execution by maintaining SOPs, DTPs, job aids, and process documentation that improve coverage and reduce reliance on individual knowledge.
  • Improve manager and new hire effectiveness by reinforcing process expectations, common risk areas, and best practices that support readiness, reduce preventable issues, and improve onboarding consistency.
  • Conduct new hire training related to supported Sales Operations areas, helping associates/managers understand key processes, tools, expectations, and resources needed for a successful onboarding experience.
  • Support customer access and field continuity by helping maintain vendor credentialing readiness, reviewing requirements, monitoring potential compliance concerns, and sharing best practices.
  • Help reduce credentialing disruptions by resolving account setup, registration, renewal, deactivation, documentation, discrepancy, and access issues with agencies and hospital customers.
  • Support supplier approval by assisting with vendor credentialing registration and vetting activities required for customer access.
  • Improve readiness visibility and auditability by maintaining accurate credentialing files, databases, and documentation that help prevent downstream delays, rework, or missed requirements.
  • Help reduce contractual and compliance risk by reviewing vendor credentialing terms, flagging concerns, supporting exception requests within guidelines, and escalating issues to Contracts/Legal as required.
  • Serve as a liaison between Sales Operations, field teams, and Legal/Contracts on credentialing terms and conditions that impact the program.
  • Support timely customer access by facilitating approved exceptions to standard terms and conditions within established parameters.
  • Support consistent adoption and compliance by maintaining process documentation, training materials, and stakeholder resources.
