About The Position

Ryan Herco Flow Solutions is looking for a competent, pro-active Operations Supervisor to facilitate an atmosphere of cooperation, accountability, and empowerment. This position is directly responsible for supervising a team of accomplished, highly motivated sales representatives. The Operations Supervisor must inspire and motivate the team to continue working together to achieve beyond set expectations, lead by example, and promote Ryan Herco Flow Solutions’ image of professionalism and exemplary service at all times. Customer service experience is a must; and experience in fluid flow thermoplastic pipe, valve, fitting, instrumentation, pumps, and chemical storage tanks is a big plus!

Requirements

  • 4+ years proven sales and/or customer service experience
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Team leader with strong interpersonal skills
  • Professional, polite, customer-focused attitude
  • Persuasive, amiable, goal-oriented, self-motivated
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Good mechanical aptitude
  • MS Office savvy (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Must be able to type 40 WPM

Nice To Haves

  • 4 year college degree preferred
  • Experience with corrosion resistant fluid flow items such as piping systems, valves, instrumentation, chemical storage tanks and pumps is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of AS400 Operating System a plus

Responsibilities

  • Supports and facilitates implementation of sales and marketing plan.
  • Insures the inside sales team is pro-active and productively engaged in selling activities
  • Successfully manages customer expectations & organizes the team for optimal customer service
  • Liaison for Outside Sales, Regional Manager, Director of Operations and Customer Service, and customers.
  • Develops a rapport and maintains good working relationships with customers.
  • Assists in recruitment, interviewing, and hiring Insides Sales employees.
  • Confronts performance issues as well as giving rewards and recognitions.
  • Delivers difficult feedback in a constructive manner that focuses on improvement.
  • Provides excellent customer service by answering incoming customer calls, solving problems, entering orders, and completing follow-up procedures.
  • Maximizes customer contact on the phone by turning product inquiries into orders; suggests accessories or replacement items to customers.
  • Writes bids and quotes when necessary and completes follow-up procedures
