About The Position

The Commercial team is essential for driving revenue growth, acquiring and retaining customers, and providing valuable market insights, working closely with other departments to align sales strategies with business goals, shape pricing, and product development. The Sales Operations/Customer Service Intern will join the Commercial team, gaining experience and supporting two different teams within Commercial (sales). This internship provides an excellent opportunity to learn about various Commercial teams that support field sales with projects and deliverables. Tropicana is looking for a critical thinker with exceptional communication, influencing, and relationship management skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Ability to learn new technologies, processes, and systems quickly.
  • Passion for data analysis with strong Excel skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with diverse teams.
  • Initiative to resolve issues proactively and improve operational efficiency.
  • Critical thinking skills with an analytical and continuous improvement mindset
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Rising senior undergraduate, or in a graduate program
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future
  • Must be located in Chicago, IL surrounding area or willing to relocate for the duration of employment.
  • Willingness to adapt and thrive in a blended work environment with 3-days in office, seamlessly transitioning between remote work and in-office operations

  • Project management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support various teams in the development and implementation of process enhancements.
  • Participate in data collection and analysis to inform operational decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects aimed at optimizing efficiency.
  • Support the preparation of presentations for internal stakeholders regarding sales performance.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving sales strategies and processes.
