About The Position

As a Sales Operations Associate in Kyndryl's Early Career Consult Program, you will support sales teams by transforming business data into actionable insights. This role involves gaining practical experience in sales reporting, forecasting, data quality, and business operations. You will collaborate with colleagues in sales, finance, and operations to enhance understanding of pipeline, bookings, revenue, and productivity, thereby supporting accurate planning and guiding sales team actions. The position combines independent data analysis and reporting with collaborative operational support. You will update reports, review data, investigate variances, understand reporting needs, resolve data questions, and improve processes. The program offers opportunities to develop business, technology, and consulting skills, with hands-on experience in enterprise reporting and CRM tools, and confidence in communicating data to various audiences. Your work will provide reliable information for planning, forecasting, and progress measurement. As you grow, you can contribute ideas, take ownership of tasks, and explore career paths in sales operations, business analytics, and consulting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, associate degree or equivalent practical experience completed recently or before the start date
  • Academic, internship, co-op, military, volunteer or project experience working with business data
  • Ability to organize data and identify patterns, differences or missing information
  • Experience using spreadsheets to sort, compare, calculate or present information
  • Ability to explain analytical findings clearly in writing, presentations or discussions
  • Demonstrated ability to complete structured tasks accurately and meet agreed deadlines
  • Ability to collaborate with teammates while managing assigned work independently
  • Interest in sales operations, business analytics, consulting or revenue management

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics or similar tools
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau or another reporting and visualization platform
  • Familiarity with pipeline, bookings, revenue, forecasting or budgeting concepts
  • Experience creating dashboards, reports or data presentations through coursework or projects
  • Experience using AI-enabled productivity tools for research, analysis or content development

Responsibilities

  • Turn data into useful insights
  • Prepare reports that show pipeline, bookings, revenue and seller productivity

  • Partnering with account teams to convert MQLs to sales-ready opportunities.
  • Researching target accounts and contacts.
  • Booking meetings for sellers and supporting pipeline creation.
  • Maintaining CRM hygiene and tracking progression through the funnel.
  • Providing feedback to marketing on lead quality and campaign effectiveness.
  • Work with sales, finance and operations teams to understand reporting needs
  • Document recurring processes so information is clear and easy to follow
  • Gather feedback and suggest practical improvements to reports and workflows
