About The Position

Ampacity is seeking a Sales Operations Associate to support the sales team by keeping contracts, sales orders, and project handoffs organized and on track. You'll help maintain sales reports, track forecasts, and coordinate between Sales, Operations, and Finance to make sure customer projects move forward without delays. This is a great entry point into sales operations. You'll learn how a sales team runs day to day, build skills in reporting and process management, and work closely with experienced sales leaders. The role rewards someone who is detail oriented, organized, and comfortable juggling multiple tasks at once.

Requirements

0–2 years of experience in sales support, sales operations, or administrative roles (internships count)
Comfortable working with data and spreadsheets (Excel proficiency)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Clear written and verbal communication
Ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines at once
Proactive follow-through and comfortable chasing down missing information
Basic understanding of sales processes and contract workflows, or willingness to learn quickly

Responsibilities

Track and organize contract requests, checklists, and required documents (COIs, lien waivers, etc.)
Process and monitor sales orders to ensure accurate, timely execution
Coordinate project handoffs between Sales, Operations, and Accounting, capturing details like timelines, contacts, and milestones
Pull and organize sales reports and forecasting data from NetSuite
Support sales team meetings by organizing agendas, notes, and follow-up items
Help maintain and update sales team SOPs and playbooks
Track project start and completion dates for commissions and customer follow-up
Assist with tracking sales forecasts, estimates, and probabilities
This role will evolve over time with the needs of the business.
