About The Position

The Sales Operations team partners with Zipline’s commercial teams to translate strategy into execution, building systems, data, and operating rhythms to help sales teams prioritize accounts, manage pipeline, and act on insights. Their work includes CRM governance, account research, pipeline reporting, process improvement, sales enablement, and go-to-market initiatives. As a Sales Operations Analyst Intern, you will contribute to the infrastructure of Zipline’s commercial organization by working on projects that enhance sales data usability, scalability of processes, and decision-making. You will support various areas such as pipeline analysis, account and territory planning, CRM improvements, prospecting operations, and reporting. This role involves collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and other business partners, offering insight into how a high-growth company scales its go-to-market engine.

Requirements

  • Must have completed at least two years of undergraduate degree in business, economics, analytics, marketing, operations, engineering, or a related field. Candidates who are currently pursuing or have completed a bachelor’s, master’s, or MBA degree are eligible.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with an ability to work carefully with data and details.
  • Curiosity about how sales organizations operate and a willingness to ask questions, investigate problems, and learn new tools.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to turn analysis into a concise recommendation.
  • Comfort managing multiple workstreams in a fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with spreadsheets, CRM systems, reporting tools, or process documentation is helpful but not required.
  • HubSpot Admin experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Audit, standardize, and enrich CRM records to improve data quality and trust in reporting.
  • Support recurring pipeline, forecast, and funnel reporting; identify trends in stage movement, aging, coverage, and conversion.
  • Build account lists, market maps, and research briefs that help sales teams prioritize prospects and whitespace opportunities.
  • Document and improve sales processes, including lead routing, handoffs, opportunity stages, and follow-up workflows.
  • Coordinate cross-functional Sales Operations initiatives by tracking milestones, owners, risks, and next steps.
  • Create practical dashboards, analysis, playbooks, and enablement materials for sales and leadership stakeholders.
  • Identify repetitive work and help evaluate automation or AI-enabled ways to improve speed, consistency, and quality.
