About The Position

The Sales Operations Administrator will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of customer, prospect, opportunity, activity, and forecast information within HubSpot CRM. This role involves regularly auditing CRM data and collaborating with Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) to correct any incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate information. The administrator will also review incoming sales inquiries, ensure proper documentation, and route them to the appropriate RSM for follow-up. A key part of the role includes extracting, organizing, and analyzing data from multiple business systems using Microsoft Excel to generate actionable insights for RSMs, Sales Management, and leadership. Additionally, the administrator will gather and organize sales metrics and KPI data for management meetings and business reviews, and assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by the Sales Manager.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field; equivalent experience preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in sales administration, sales support, business operations, customer service, marketing coordination, or related roles.
  • Experience working with CRM systems (HubSpot Preferred) and business software applications.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, filters, pivot tables, lookups, and working with large data sets.
  • Experience preparing reports, tracking metrics, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial equipment, automation, machinery, or capital equipment industries.
  • Experience supporting remote sales teams, dealer networks, or distributors.
  • Experience coordinating trade shows, training events, or customer-facing programs.
  • Familiarity with AI productivity tools such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot to improve efficiency, organization, communication, and data analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify process improvements and implement more efficient business practices.
