About The Position

Menehune Water Company is seeking a Sales & Merchandising Representative for its Kauai Division. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy building customer relationships, driving sales, and representing a well-established local brand. The company has been Hawai‘i’s oldest and largest locally owned bottled water delivery company for 40 years, providing high-quality bottled water and exceptional customer service.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
1–3 years of experience in sales, merchandising, or customer service
Valid Hawai‘i driver’s license
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated with strong time management skills
Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Word, Excel preferred)

Nice To Haves

Experience in beverage, food service, or route sales
Familiarity with Kauai retail or commercial accounts
Strong mechanical or installation skills (coolers, water dispensers, etc.)

Responsibilities

Promote and sell Menehune Water products and services to residential and commercial clients
Generate and follow up on new sales leads (including referrals and online inquiries)
Set up new customer accounts, process contracts, and coordinate installations
Install coolers, bottles, and other equipment at customer sites
Maintain ongoing relationships with existing clients and identify upsell opportunities
Report sales activities, cancellations, and promotions to the Kauai Division Manager
Keep accurate and up-to-date client records
Maintain and restock product displays at retail accounts
Set up and remove promotional displays as needed
Coordinate deliveries and return reusable pallets or boxes
Ensure product shelves are clean, organized, and visually appealing
Maintain company vehicle in safe, clean condition and adhere to all traffic and safety regulations
