About The Position
Franz Family Bakery is seeking a full-time Sales Merchandiser to join its team in Idaho Falls, Idaho. The role ensures customers have well-stocked, fresh, and attractively presented bakery products in assigned stores. The position involves maintaining products on shelves and using a company vehicle to deliver products to customer locations. The successful candidate will be reliable, safe, highly organized, and able to communicate effectively with people inside and outside the organization.
Requirements
- Be available to work between 5 a.m. and 7 p.m. on weekdays and weekends; the schedule will be discussed at the interview.
- Have a solid work history and at least one year of experience in a similar merchandising position.
- Successfully pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen, math test, physical, and physical capacity test.
- Have a clean driving record and provide a current driving abstract from the department of licensing if called for an interview.
- Be able to lift up to 40 pounds regularly and maneuver large, bulky racks of product.
- Be able to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, reach, and perform frequent-to-constant handling activities.
- Be highly organized and able to work at a fast pace and communicate effectively with a variety of people inside and outside the organization.
- Have a proven history of being reliable, safe, and positive.

Responsibilities
- Maintain bakery products in assigned stores.
- Stock shelves and rotate outdated products to ensure freshness.
- Face products and present bakery items attractively to consumers.
- Maintain a neat and orderly appearance of assigned bakery products.
- Drive a company vehicle to deliver products to customer locations.
- Load and unload products from the company-issued vehicle, including pushing and pulling racks and trays.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
