About The Position

Cumulus Media | Nashville is looking for a dynamic Sales Marketing Manager who can unite strategy with execution to accelerate growth across both our B2B initiatives and consumer facing promotional efforts. This leader will shape our go to market story, elevate our brand, and deliver best in class marketing tools that fuel revenue and engagement.
This role is responsible for building impactful sales campaigns, creating compelling collateral, and ensuring consistent brand execution across all platforms and promotional channels. The ideal candidate blends strategic thinking with hands on execution, translating business goals into effective marketing solutions that strengthen our presence in the marketplace and reinforce brand integrity across every client and consumer touchpoint.
In media, the brand story is everything. Your work will influence how advertisers see us, how audiences connect with us, and how our business grows. You will help shape the creative and commercial heartbeat of the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in sales marketing, brand marketing, or integrated marketing—ideally within media, entertainment, or related industries.
• Proven ability to craft effective campaigns and high impact sales materials.
• Strong grasp of brand development, promotional strategy, and creative execution.
• Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in CRM platforms, Adobe/Canva tools, project management systems, and analytics dashboards.
• Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Create smart, compelling sales marketing campaigns that help revenue teams win business.
• Develop polished client facing materials including pitch decks, one sheets, media kits, case studies, and proposal assets.
• Collaborate directly with Sales leaders to identify advertiser needs, shape marketing solutions, and support new revenue opportunities.
• Analyze performance, audience insights, and category trends to enhance the sales story.
• Ensure all materials reflect the brand voice and clearly communicate our value to advertisers and agencies.
• Lead the Promotional team responsible for consumer facing and brand side execution.
• Safeguard brand consistency across on air, digital, events, merchandise, and partner activations.
• Collaborate with creative, production, and external partners to deliver polished, high impact assets.
• Maintain and champion brand guidelines across the organization.
• Support major tentpole events, partner activations, and station or brand initiatives that drive ratings, engagement, and advertiser interest.
• Act as a connector across Sales, Marketing, Programming, Promotions, and Sr. leadership.
• Manage multiple projects at once, ensuring deadlines, approvals, and deliverables stay on track.
• Provide strategic input on messaging, positioning, and audience segmentation across platforms.
• Oversee budget planning, vendor relationships, and project workflows for both sales marketing and promotional initiatives.
