About The Position

This is a 10-week PAID, REMOTE internship opportunity within Penguin Random House's adult, children’s, and corporate divisions. Interns will be exposed to the publishing process and the business through panels, networking events, and employee speaker series. The sales teams manage Penguin Random House’s relationship with booksellers globally, ensuring books are available to readers in all sales channels (supermarkets, malls, bookstores, and online) and are well displayed and promoted. The objective is to make books available for consumers and ensure they are well displayed and promoted wherever they are.

Requirements

Must be ready to work full-time on or before June 2028
Able to work 28 hours/week throughout the program
Available and commit to the program working June 7th, 2027 – August 12th, 2027
Must reside in the U.S. for the duration of the internship program
Must be over the age of 18

Responsibilities

Assisting with sales reporting and analysis
Tracking key account shipments
Assisting with creation of presentations for selling to accounts
Attending department meetings and gaining an understanding of the day-to-day functions of book publishing sales
