About The Position

Adams Multi Media of Southern Wisconsin is seeking an energetic, organized and ambitious Sales & Marketing Coordinator ready to begin a career. You will work directly with customers, experienced sales professionals and senior leaders while gaining hands-on experience in customer service, advertising, project management, client communication and campaign execution. No two days are the same. You might create a presentation for a major sales pitch, update reports and spreadsheets, assist a walk-in customer or coordinate an off-site event. This is more than an administrative position. You will participate in the process, help bring marketing campaigns to life and learn directly from experienced senior leaders. For the right person, this position can lead to opportunities in multimedia sales or project management. You will work with a variety of local organizations, learn how effective marketing campaigns are developed and see the direct impact of your work.

Requirements

  • A recent graduate in marketing, advertising, communications, business, sales, public relations or a related field
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Clear, professional communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • The ability to learn new technology and systems quickly
  • A positive and dependable approach
  • The initiative to work independently while contributing to a team
  • Someone who takes initiative rather than waiting to be told what to do

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in administration, customer service, sales, marketing or design is helpful but not required.
  • Internships, volunteer work, campus leadership and relevant class projects are all valuable experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist walk-in subscribers and classified advertising customers
  • Build and book legal, classified and obituary advertisements.
  • Create advertising proposals, presentations, spreadsheets and reports
  • Support print, digital, social media and multimedia campaigns
  • Communicate professionally with customers in person, by phone and by email
  • Coordinate campaign deadlines, creative materials and project timelines
  • Track sales activity, campaign performance and revenue
  • Work with sales, creative and production teams to move projects from concept to completion
