About The Position
The Sales Market Research Intern will support GigFinesse’s sales team by conducting outbound research to verify venue information, programming schedules, booking contacts, and competitive intelligence. The role involves research, communication, and business development support. It is an unpaid internship for credit only, offered either in person in Austin, Texas, or remotely during Spring 2027.
Requirements
- Business, Sales, Marketing, Communications, or a related degree.
- Comfortable making outbound phone calls.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent note-taking abilities.
- Professional phone etiquette.
- Confidence speaking with venue managers and business owners.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain an accurate database of venue information to support effective sales outreach.
- Research websites, social media platforms, and public resources to gather relevant insights.
- Contact venues by phone and email to verify programming schedules, booking contacts, and venue information.
- Assist with territory mapping and sales prospecting initiatives.
- Collaborate with the sales team to support outbound campaigns and strategic planning.
