General position summary: Responsible for managing and supervising Workplace Solutions sales activities within one assigned local market. Leads and develops a team of sales professionals to achieve revenue, margin, and growth objectives through consistent execution of the Workplace Solutions sales process. Operates within established strategies, standards, and frameworks set by Workplace Solutions leadership. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Sales Team Leadership Directly supervise and manage Workplace Solutions sales professionals within an assigned local market Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to drive individual and team results Conduct regular one‑on‑one meetings, pipeline reviews, and performance discussions Support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training activities for the local sales team Ensure adherence to established sales standards, KPIs, and CRM compliance requirements Sales Execution & Performance Management Drive achievement of assigned local market sales, revenue, and profitability targets Ensure disciplined execution of the Workplace Solutions sales process from prospecting through close Monitor pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and opportunity quality Identify performance gaps and implement corrective actions as needed Account & Opportunity Support Partner with sales team members on key local accounts and complex sales opportunities Provide support for proposals, presentations, RFP responses, and closing activities Coordinate with design, project management, operations, and service teams to deliver solutions that meet customer expectations Customer & Market Engagement Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders within the assigned market Represent Workplace Solutions in customer meetings, site visits, and local industry events Maintain awareness of local market conditions, competitive activity, and growth opportunities Process, Reporting & Compliance Ensure accurate and consistent use of the company CRM platform Provide timely sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reporting Comply with all established sales rhythms, reporting requirements, and operating standards Job Skills Required: A track record of successful leadership and management of a sales team, including hiring, coaching, and performance management Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively Strong business acumen and industry experience in office moving, commercial furniture sales, commercial real estate services, or project management preferred. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers Demonstrated ability to work independently and self-motivated Excellent financial management, planning, and forecasting skills, and technology orientation Ability to travel daily within your market to support and develop your team, including working on site a minimum of 4 days a week. Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 3+ years of successful sales management experience consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets Experience with CRM management and training sales team to work within a system to effectively track sales cycles (HubSpot preferred) Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Computer Operations: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to learn and effectively use software applications such as move management, accounting/billing, HRIS (Human Resources Information System), timekeeping and other applications used in the performance of job duties.
