About The Position

BryantCorp is a family-owned real estate development and property management company focused on providing commercial and hospitality spaces that improve communities. The company currently owns and manages four hotels with two more in the development pipeline. The Sales Manager supports BryantCorp's vision by assisting the hotel General Managers, Assistant General Manager, and Chief Engineer to accomplish company goals. This role involves building relationships with guests from the beginning of their booking process throughout their stay, responding to guest inquiries, coordinating event details, and providing administrative sales support.

Requirements

  • Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, followthrough, courtesy, cooperativeness, and work with a minimum of supervision.
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be proficient in general computer and Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

  • 12 months of hotel sales and/or front desk experience preferred, but not required
  • Interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with co-workers and the public.
  • Previous sales experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Area Director of Sales with a focus on optimizing revenue and bookings
  • Communicate pertinent information regarding groups to the various departments of the hotel to ensure a cohesive and consistent process with the overall goal of customer and guest satisfaction.
  • Drive revenue by actively selling meeting and event spaces to prospective clients
  • Respond promptly to incoming sales inquiries and calls, providing accurate information and tailored solutions
  • Prepare, distribute, and manage group agreements and contracts in a timely manner
  • Create, monitor, and manage room blocks, ensuring accuracy and optional utilization
  • Conduct consistent follow-up and communication on room blocks
  • Accurately input and maintain all group, event, and client details within designated systems
  • Conduct on-site tours for walk-in clients and potential groups, showcasing the property and event spaces
  • Deliver exceptional guest service throughout the sales and planning process, ensuring a positive and client experience
  • Providing exemplary guest service by demonstrating a personal commitment to making every guest satisfied.
  • Other duties as requested by the Area Director of Sales
