About The Position

Zermatt Resort & Spa is seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to lead revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives, relationship development, and proactive prospecting. This role is responsible for generating group, corporate, and event business while strengthening partnerships that elevate the resort’s market presence. The ideal candidate is an energetic hospitality sales professional with a passion for building client relationships, closing business, and collaborating across departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of sales experience in hospitality, resort, or hotel sales preferred
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
  • Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities
  • Experience managing group sales, meetings, and events is highly preferred
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Strong organizational and CRM management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets for group, corporate, and event segments
  • Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities through networking, outreach, and industry partnerships
  • Manage and grow relationships with corporate accounts, travel planners, event organizers, and group clients
  • Conduct sales presentations, site tours, and client meetings showcasing resort amenities and event capabilities
  • Prepare and negotiate contracts, proposals, and pricing strategies
  • Collaborate with marketing and revenue management teams to maximize occupancy and event bookings
  • Represent the resort at trade shows, networking events, and industry conferences
  • Maintain accurate sales activity, pipeline reporting, and forecasting in CRM systems
  • Coordinate with operations, catering, and event teams to ensure seamless execution of group and event business
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to refine sales strategies
