About The Position

Rose Roofing and Restoration is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Manager to lead our field sales team. As one of the fastest-growing roofing organizations in the region, we pride ourselves on high-performance operations, exceptional customer care, and elite team development. This field-driven leadership role is responsible for onboarding, developing, and retaining Sales Development Representatives (SDRs). The position is 100% performance-focused, requiring a strong field presence, active team engagement, and a commitment to ensuring SDRs achieve rapid ramp-up and success within their first 60 days. You will work side-by-side with SDRs, providing daily coaching on sales techniques, damage identification, inspections, and closing strategies, all while embodying a strong "Mob & Knock Mentality."

Requirements

  • 3+ years field-based sales management.
  • Proven success in door-to-door or outside sales.
  • Strong leadership and coaching capability.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage performance data.
  • High work ethic and passion for team success.

  • Roofing or home services experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Be present in the field 5 days per week.
  • Knock 200 doors per week and sign at least 8 jobs per month.
  • Work side-by-side with SDRs daily on pitch, damage ID, inspections, and closing.
  • Maintain team average of 6.5 signs per SDR per month.
  • Demonstrate a strong “Mob & Knock Mentality.”
  • Conduct two weekly performance and mindset meetings.
  • Lead daily standups for goals, planning, and coaching.
  • Organize quarterly team-building events.
  • Provide monthly field and customer relations training.
  • Ensure SDRs knock 200 doors before testing.
  • Ensure Fast Start milestones are achieved.
  • Train SDRs on expectations, communication, and tools.
  • Coach door approach, pitch, contract execution, and damage ID.
  • Enforce 50 doors/day, 1 sign/day, and 24-hour communication policy.
  • Ensure full setup with tools, apps, gear.
  • Achieve 60% retention at 30 days and 50% at 60 days.
  • Track signs, doors, attendance, and engagement.
  • Identify underperformance early and provide coaching.
  • Report team metrics to EVP of Sales.
  • Ensure accountability for meetings and training.
  • Partner with EVP of Sales, Training, and Recruiting.
  • Participate in weekly leadership meetings.
  • Provide hiring feedback.
  • Call SDRs prior to training for engagement.
