About The Position

The Sales Manager focuses solely on driving Legal sales with our Corporates customers in the small and mid-sized business market for both new acquisition and existing accounts. This role leads teams comprised of sales executives who are accountable for growing Legal sales across the corporate SMB market focusing on new acquisition sales and growing existing relationships. The Sales Manager collaborates with regional Sales teams, segment commercial owners, and marketing to deliver and support these requirements. They will build a training and coaching program for sales executive roles focusing on sales attainment, sales skill development, and product development, while leveraging KPIs to manage performance and growth. This role partners with the Legal Sales Lead to maximize resource deployment within the region and coordinate approach based on business needs. Additionally, the Sales Manager owns and develops hiring and recruiting strategies to bring in top talent to offset turnover risk in field roles. They will pioneer, lead, and project manage cross-sell initiatives across the rest of large corporates with an outcome and metric-driven focus, and develop an effective and diverse network to achieve business goals. This role adheres to a Servant Leadership approach, understanding and removing barriers to team members' success while sharing best practices across the team. The Sales Manager sets and communicates clear performance expectations for team members and holds them accountable, including expectations around sales attainment, forecasting, SFDC compliance, reporting, partnering, learning agility, professionalism, cultures, and values.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree preferred; 8+ years of professional experience
  • Strong coaching mindset and commitment to talent development; communicates with radical candor
  • Skilled at conflict resolution and problem-solving to achieve win-win outcomes
  • An outside-in focus: outstanding end-customer relationship skills
  • Skilled in sales processes and methodology
  • High learning agility and creative thinking
  • Agile in changing environments with ability to effectively lead teams through change
