As a member of the Seating team, the Sales Manager will have overall commercial ownership of new and awarded business for their assigned customer base. This role also requires leadership qualities to logically work through issues, understand the general market and trends, and provide strategic feedback to assist in decision-making for the sales organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
  • Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
  • 7-10 Years of sales or account management experience focused on direct OEM accounts
  • Experience in negotiating premium cost claims with OEM customers
  • Experience in tracking price changes, maintaining accurate records of changes including margin impacts
  • Ability to understand drawing and technical information
  • Experience with tracking margin improvement by capitalizing on EC's, CTO, and one-time commercial opportunities
