About The Position

ERCO Worldwide is looking for a Sales Manager to join our US Corporate team! This role is an important next step in our journey to create a customer centric business and drive functional excellence in Sales and Marketing. This replacement is needed to further improve our strategic account and channel partner management and further integrate the IDI Chlorite business to create “One ERCO”. Driving Sales team efficiencies, promoting “team selling”, and sharing of best practices across the entire business will ultimately result from this new structure. We also see this as an important part of the development plan for the entire Sales organization and a key part of our succession plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Development, Engineering, Finance and/or Chemistry is required.
  • 6-10 years of broad commercial experience in variety of functions like Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain Management.

Nice To Haves

  • Cross-functional experience in Manufacturing or Supply Chain is helpful to provide perspective on what is required internally to meet customer requirements is preferred.
  • Experience managing sales professionals preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support a culture of commitment to high standards of health, safety, environmental responsibility, and promote Responsible Care ethic with all stakeholders and direct reports.
  • Provide continuous leadership in the area of Sales Excellence and provide consistent coaching for improvement. Guide each direct report through Individual development plans. Strengthen the organization by driving and implementing succession and strategic staffing plans for Sales.
  • Deliver annual sales plan.
  • Provide appropriate leadership in areas of reporting, refinement of Strategic Plan, execution of business objectives and significant events impacting business.
  • Drive Sales Excellence and "raise the bar" with the Sales team through implementation of Strategic Account Management process across all lines of business with emphasis on "Top 30" Customers / Channel Partners.
  • Support a culture of continuous improvement throughout the Sales function.
  • Constant review of current business processes and reporting tools to provide leadership in the development of continuous improvements to the tools and the processes.
  • Work with account managers, customers, customer service and finance to deliver an accurate forecast weekly, monthly quarterly and annually.
  • Improve quarterly forecasting accuracy through continued improvements to the supply/demand planning process.
