The Sales Manager position reports to the Director of Sales and is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the sales department. This includes managing sales quotas, developing and executing sales plans, addressing guest concerns, and ensuring compliance with hotel policies. The role involves close collaboration with the Food and Beverage and Banquet departments to coordinate events, maximize revenue, and deliver seamless guest experiences, ultimately enhancing overall guest satisfaction and sales performance.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in Sales, Food and Beverage hotel operations, with at least 1-3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent customer service and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours; including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field is preferred.
  • Experience with property management systems and hotel reservation software is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Director of Sales with daily sales operations and strategic initiatives
  • Develop, implement, and manage sales plans to meet or exceed revenue goals
  • Manage sales quotas, forecasts, and performance metrics
  • Generate new business and maintain relationships with existing accounts
  • Work closely with the Banquet and Food & Beverage departments to coordinate events, group bookings, and catering services
  • Ensure seamless communication between sales, banquet, and F&B teams for event execution
  • Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, brand standards, and service expectations
  • Participate in site tours, client meetings, and contract negotiations
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities
  • Maintain accurate sales records, reports, and client documentation
