About The Position

UPPERKUTS BOXING CLUB is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead and inspire our sales team in driving membership growth and revenue. As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, managing sales targets, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences throughout the sales process. You will oversee the membership sales representatives, coach and motivate them to achieve individual and team goals, and collaborate closely with marketing and membership services to align sales initiatives with club objectives. This leadership role requires a hands-on approach to building strong relationships with prospective and existing members, analyzing sales performance metrics, and continuously improving sales processes. The ideal candidate is a confident leader with a proven track record in fitness or sports sales management, exceptional communication and strategic planning skills, and a passion for fostering a winning team environment. Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the fitness, sports, or wellness industries.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a sales team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans that achieve measurable results.
  • Proficiency with CRM and sales pipeline management software.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in sales forecasting and reporting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor effective sales strategies to achieve club membership growth and revenue targets.
  • Lead, supervise, and support the membership sales team by providing training, mentorship, and performance feedback.
  • Manage sales operations, including pipeline management, reporting, and forecasting to track progress against goals.
  • Collaborate with marketing and membership services to optimize promotional campaigns and member acquisition efforts.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of excellent customer service and sales experience across all touchpoints.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance sales efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with members to encourage retention and referrals.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
