About The Position

The Sales Manager is responsible for leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing team of sales representatives to achieve individual and organizational revenue targets. This role combines strategic sales leadership, key account management, and cross-functional collaboration to drive sustainable growth. The ideal candidate brings strong industry knowledge, proven sales performance, and the ability to motivate and mentor a diverse sales team.

Requirements

  • Approximately 5 years of sales experience, ideally within the oils, lubricants, automotive, industrial, or closely related industries.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience managing key or strategic customer accounts.
  • Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and make informed, data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally as needed.

  • Prior experience leading, supervising, or mentoring a sales team.
  • Background working with complex product lines or technical sales environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and manage a team of sales representatives to achieve sales goals and professional development milestones.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews.
  • Provide ongoing guidance, support, and accountability to drive individual and team success.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to increase revenue and expand market share.
  • Identify new business opportunities and support sales reps in closing high-value deals.
  • Monitor performance metrics, track KPIs, and provide accurate reporting and forecasting to leadership.
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of select key accounts, serving as the primary point of contact.
  • Strengthen customer relationships through proactive communication and strategic partnership.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by coordinating solutions across internal teams.
  • Partner with operations, supply chain, and customer service teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer experience.
  • Align with internal stakeholders to support product availability, pricing strategy, and service improvements.
  • Ensure CRM systems are accurately maintained, with timely updates to account activity, pipeline progress, and sales documentation.
  • Promote consistent use of reporting tools and sales processes across the team.
  • Represent the company with professionalism when engaging with customers, vendors, and industry partners.
  • Uphold company values and promote a strong brand presence in the marketplace.
